Are RELIGION and SOCIALISM Compatible?

WEDNESDAY 21st MAY 2008

PLEASE NOTE NEW DATE AND TIME

The Victoria Centre, Palk Road, Wellingborough at 7.00pm

Round table discussion / debate.

Speakers confirmed to date include:Dr. Ghayasuddin Siddiqui (Muslim Parliament), Cynthia Bailey (United Reformed Church, Wellingborough), Mike Matthews (a supporter of ISW and a humanist) and Cllr. Shashi Dholakia (speaking from a Hindu perspective).

Other possible contributors from other religious traditions are yet to be confirmed.
This promises to be a lively and interesting discussion/debate. Not to be missed!!!

February Meeting

Informal meeting (Business & Pleasure!)

Come along if you are able and please invite other who may be interested in being involved in ISW to come also.

Note that ISW is an inclusive, non-sectarian, non-party political group (although members of political parties - Labour, Greens, Respect, etc., - are welcome).
Anyone broadly of "socialist"/progressive views, who wants to get involved in politics at a local level, is welcome.

HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL EVENT

Holocaust Memorial Event
A public meeting is planned for January the 31st at 7.30pm
@ The Victoria Centre on Palk Road, Wellingborough
N.B Venue now confirmed

This will be a Holocaust Memorial Evening entitled:

"Five Steps to Tyranny:
Could you commit genocide?
"

~ A showing of the acclaimed BBC documentary ~
~ Followed by discussion and debate ~
